Privacy Policy

Short version

InViNode is a desktop application that runs entirely on your own computer. It does not create an account for you, does not send your project files anywhere, and does not include analytics or ad tracking. Your story stays on your machine.

What InViNode stores, and where

• Project files (.ivn.json) and exported .rpy scripts are saved only to folders you choose on your own disk.
• App settings (keyboard shortcuts, canvas preferences, your Ren'Py projects folder) are stored locally in a small config file in your system's application-data folder.
• None of the above is transmitted to InViNode, its developer, or any third party.

What this website collects

This website (invinode.com) does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts. Standard web server logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) may be kept briefly for security and abuse-prevention purposes, as with most web hosting.

Third-party links

Pages on this site link out to itch.io, Ren'Py, Twine, and community sites (Discord, Reddit, forums). Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we don't control — check their terms before sharing information there.

Downloads

Downloading InViNode from itch.io is subject to itch.io's own privacy policy for the download/purchase process itself; InViNode's developer does not receive any personal information from that transaction beyond what itch.io's creator dashboard provides in aggregate.

Changes to this policy

If InViNode ever adds functionality that changes what data is collected (for example, an opt-in crash reporter or update checker), this page will be updated first and the change called out clearly — not buried in a version bump.
